Kylander completed her PhD in 2006 at the Department of Earth-Science and Engineering at Imperial College London, UK. She is an expert on measuring environmental pollution and paleoclimate studies, making reconstructions using geochemical records from lake sediments and peatlands. Kylander will present the story behind her CV, with an emphasis on difficulties, doubts, detours, and failures, how she managed these challenges and built a successful career in Geological Sciences.
